You don't have to give up on Gadwin. You can use both...

Yes, you're right! I can do that. And I think I will.

There have been several instances when I wanted to capture an area that scrolled off of the page. So I had to take several screenshots and display them one after another. With this program, that won't ever be necessary again. Gadwin will still be good for when the entire capture area is on the screen...

Yep me too, very frustrating when you can't. And like I said that is a very useful feature.
But you know what I'm thinking ... Another frustration has been that when trying to help someone set up Gadwin I was unable to take screen shots of the various windows. You just can't take a screen shot of Gadwin! LOL I haven't tried it yet so don't know if it will work or not, I'm wondering if one could use FastStone to take screen shots of the Gadwin windows??

Yep, since FastStone installs and runs differently from Gadwin, you should be able to use one to screenshot the other...

Course now that there is FastStone would I even be justified in recommending Gadwin instead?
Decisions, decisions. It's the decisions that get you down.

They both have their strengths and weaknesses. I will still be using Gadwin as my primary Printscreen program. But I now have FastStone for the times when Gadwin doesn't suit my needs...

Excellent!
I've been telling everyone about Gadwin, but I hated not being able to capture things off my screen

| I'm going to use both Gadwin and FastStone. I like Gadwin but there are times when the ability to capture a scrolling page will be handy. I too have had to take several Screenshota sometimes to show all of a page because of it's size. I see no reason that both programs cannot co-exist without any conflict, do you? Thanks for posting this Ruta. Even at 39 I guess I'm never too old to learn something new, huh? |
