| In the CP of a registered person. nothing shows up except the radials for the gender selection, no text anywhere on that entire line. And in their profile, the actual gender selected shows up and not the word 'gender' to the left of it. BTW - I thought the gender icon was supposed to show there?!?! |

Hello Nightrider,
I have just tried to install Gender MOD but it gives me some critical error while I was trying to install through EM. I fixed many errors but got stuck at this one.

| We'll get a resolve on this abdulbasit... soon!! Mine is working fine just the text areas aren't. I think another MOD messed it up. |

The Gender MOD isn't fully installed into your forum. You really should have used EM to install it. There is Gender MOD code missing in your profile.php file...

This line was adjusted by the Accept PMs MOD. This is how you correct the MOD script:
OPEN
gender_mod_1_0_1a.txt
FIND

REPLACE WITH

Save, upload, and try again using EM...
The reason why you can simplify this even further like I did is because the previous FIND moved the file pointer to the previous line. So even though there are many VALUES ( in the file, EM will find the next instance of it on the next line, which just happens to be the correct one...

That MOD was installed prior to me ever knowing about EM as was that older version of the Birthday MOD. There's heaps of MODS there that I actually at one time loved hand coding. Tendonitis starting acting up again and EM for life if I can. I am going to leave you a couple directories in the root/admin folder to see what's REALLY there. I move all of the 'done' MODS to it. Probably is around that 100 mark for real. You'll have 3 directories to look for from 2 different PC's/ & the lappy. Too lazy to combine them. |
