Ok NR, I have the db maintenance MOD saved to add but did you use EM to install it? If not, is it EMC??

Every MOD installed in RCF was installed using EM, including the Database Maintenance MOD. That accounts for over 800 MODs...
I really don't know which Chatbox you're referring to. You should be able to find a MOD for it at phpBB.com or phpBBHacks.com...

I have the code from the Chatbox site as I configured it but... when I copied and pasted it in my forum, it does not work. I am thinking because I linked it in a post as opposed to somewhere else maybe?!?!? I want it inside the forum for private users only. |

It is not database driven so it cannot be for any specific group. It is opened for everyone but you will have the right to make any one moderator/admin/ban/kick/member, etc
I don't see any option in this chat box to make it useful only for private users  |

| Ok quickly figured this out. I want only registered users to use this Chat Box and apparently I do not have a flash enabled (private) forum. So, this may not work for me as yours, abdulbasit, resides upon entrance to your main page. See what I mean? I want mine to be view ONLY when you log-on. I will ask on the forum over there this weekend. |

Hmm. Okay. But as I told you earlier that this chatbox is not database driven so it cannot read who is registered user or not. It just see once the user is online whether as guest or registered member, it automatically gives default name to everyone in chatbox and later that user can change it's display name to anything as per requirement.

Now I don't know which one is better because I never liked any as compare to my current one because it is fast in a sense that once the message is sent, it displays on the screen to other user at the same time whereas all the chatboxes/shoutboxes which are mentioned in the link I gave you are very slow in terms of receiving message to the other user you are talking to.
Anyhow, you can try out and may be you will be happy with the above link's chatbox/shoutbox.
