Right on mine it says the code for Deer Park Tx here it says withheld.

But then why withhold that when in the actual weather part it says the city you used.

I'm not aware that the city code would be hidden from view. I see no reason to do so anyway since every registered member can see the weather and city for each member. Perhaps if you aren't an admin, the city code would be hidden???

Nor really sure what either of you are talking about but I just looked and the city code chosen in KeeKee's profile is HOU and that's what shows.

You're right, KeeKee, I see what you mean now, I just logged in as a member and this is what I see. Says the code "Withheld" but also as you say lower down in the weather report it has the city showing anyway.

That top field is probably not even necessary. I'm sure it could be removed and no one would miss it...

Ok, there was a lot of code missing from your includes/functions.php file. After correcting that, your Test board is back online. But it appears that you didn't run the DB Update for the Report Posts MOD that you recently installed. Did the Report Posts MOD cause this problem with the functions.php file???

NO the reports post mod worked fine.

I was trying to install Contact List:

It does everything I have been ask to try to have on the board. But it's pretty complicated for someone of my install level.
I was trying to pull back out what I had put in when things went bad.

I realized that the requirements said PHP 4.1.0 and when I looked in mine it said 4.0.26 so figured it wouldn't install in the database even if I got all the files right.
I erased my temp files before moving the folder I had the changed files in so would have to redo the change files (files txt) if I tried again. And I think I'm not getting the premodded instructions right there is also a mod folder.
Actually everything is still on the server except for the changed files.

I installed the phpbb ignore suite 1.0.6 over on pasadena board and it seems to be working just fine even though it says in EM there were no database changes. But you still see the persons post just don't see what is in it. Kinda tacky looking.
the contact list hack claims to remove practically all traces of a user to someone that is ignoring them.

Don't look at the Test board to see how anthing works right now. I seriously screwed that up. Was hoping to use EM to clean up some but can't go there LOL Look at http://care-away.com/forums/pasadena/index.php

Regarding contact list there are only 8 files inside the mods folder in a clean unzip.
The support forum showed several fixes needed but they looked like things I could do.

There are so many hacks out there so there has to be one somewhere that will work.

The reason that I am being so stubborn about finding this ignore one is I hang out on several hugh corporation run boards (like Better homes and gardens) and this is one of the most demanded features. Every so often those boards get shook up real good with upgrades or vender changes whatever it send people scattering to find another board but not having at least what they were used to having kinda knocks you out of the race.
I'm aware that most will go back home when things settle down but there are also those that stay. I've watched other boards get their start through just that situation.
