It appears that you figured out how to center the logo now.  It is displaying properly for me in Opera, Firefox, and IE6...

The difference between the two is that the Joomla code has two columns along the entire page while the other only has one.  So in the Joomla code, the logo is sharing space with another column.  Unless you want to get rid of the 2nd column at the top of the page, then there is no way to center the logo on the page.  If this had used standard HTML table code, you could simply use the colspan="2" setting to accomplish this.  It isn't quite as simple with the div code...

Well you can try this and see what happens:

OPEN
templates/rhuk_solarflare_ii/index.php

FIND
Code:
<div id="header_outer">
   <div id="header">
   &nbsp;
   </div>
   <div id="top_outer">
   <div id="top_inner">
   <?php
      if ( mosCountModules( 'top' ) ) {
         mosLoadModules ( 'top', -2 );
      } else {
         ?>
         <span class="error">Top Module Empty</span>
         <?php
      }
      ?>
    </div>
</div>

REPLACE WITH
Code:
<div id="header_outer">
   <div id="header">
   &nbsp;
   </div>
</div>

Well that's not exactly what I had hoped it would do.  Put it back the way it was...

Ok, I played around with the code and managed to get the logo displaying at the top without messing up the layout...

Looks much better Blake but I don't think I’m going to bother with Joomla because it's to tricky to work with  Brick wall

I think I might go with php-fusion instead as it seems a lot easier to work with. I've managed to get the banner/logo right but I'm struggling with the css style sheet side of things. I got an ok match but a few things weren’t quite right so I put the default css style sheet back (can’t wait till I start my Web design and I.T diploma course next Tuesday  Dancing  )

Anyway, see what you think of php-fusion for me please, Blake...

If you can have a go at getting the colours to match as the first site we started with that would be great  prayer

Here’s the link: http://www.danceairwaves.net/php_fusion/news.php

Current site path: /public_html/danceairwaves/php_fusion/

Where the current skins files are: /public_html/danceairwaves/php_fusion/themes/Localize/
