Spoke too soon. YOu would think this would have gone real easy but I guess not.
Fresh install of phpbb, added a template then added easymod which installed perfectly. Uploaded the file for the photo album, then went into the admin panel, clicked on install mod and got this

Template->make_filename(): Error - file admin/mod_header.tpl does not exist
|
That's all it says in the window. Actually when I click on install mods, history and settings, I get this message. Any ideas? |

Just reinstall EM. It doesn't sound like it got installed into the new template. Before you can reinstall EM, you will have to reduce the EM version number. If you can't get into EM Settings to do it, you will have to use one of these options:
EM Version Change
If you already had EM 0.3.0 installed, then you will need to change the EM Version back so that the install will think that this is an Upgrade. You can use this tool to change your EM Version so that you can reinstall EM on your board:
EM_Version_Changer
Once the EM Version Changer is installed, set the EM version to 0.1.13 or 0.2.0...
EM Version Change (Manual Option)
If you want to manually change the EM version, you can do so in your phpbb_config table. Just look for the record beginning with EM_version. Then you can change the related field to 0.1.13. You could also delete all the records in the phpbb_config table that begin with EM_ and delete the phpbb_easymod table too to have the new install recreate everything...

Since you are now installing Smartor's Photo Album, I think it's safe to assume that you successfully installed EM. What did you have to do to get it to work???

| I deleted the whole thing and did a fresh install. I added em this time after I added the template and it worked. |

Yep, that's exactly how to do it. It sounds like you pretty much have things under control on this project. Have the others seen what you've done so far???
