Not all of the MOD was successfully uploaded to your server. I think it was an older version anyway, so I uploaded version 2.4.0. I think I originally gave you 1.2.0...
Go ahead and try it again...

No, you didn't do anything wrong. As soon as you delete the install folder, your forum will come back online. I really don't like that they added this disable option whenever the install and/or contrib folder is present...

NR - unless my vision has worsened in the last few mins since we've been talking, I can't see it as I removed both way prior to me posting this. I am still reading the DIY... :p |

| Ok, you can remove that last reply for special purposes (WINK). I did not know it had installed there as well and it's gone. Am back in there playing around, per usual. Huge thanks for better eyesight than mine. |

From now on, the install folder will not cause any problem when it is stored in a MOD folder. It will only become a problem whenever it is uploaded to the root of your phpBB forum folder. That's something that the Author would typically warn you about in the Author's notes or in the DIY INSTRUCTIONS section so that you can be prepared for it in advance...

I just wish MOD authors would avoid using that option. There is no reason to bring the forum to its knees in order to update the database...

Everything embedded between the following switches will only be visible to those who have logged in:
| Code:
|
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
this code only visible to logged in members
<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
|
By the same token, the following will only be visible to those who have not yet logged in:
| Code:
|
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_out -->
this code only visible to guests only
<!-- END switch_user_logged_out -->
|
This is handy when hiding things like the memberlist, usergroups, profile, and PMs from guests or when including a Register link to those who have yet to login. Notice what our menu looks like before you login...

Ahhhh, I see. Well the overall header addition is displaying an error message now:
| Code:
|
Critical Error
FIND FAILED: In file [templates/subSilver/overall_header.tpl] could not find:
<a href="{U_FAQ}" class="mainmenu"><img src="templates/subSilver/images/icon_mini_faq.gif" width="12" height="13" border="0" alt="{L_FAQ}" hspace="3" />{L_FAQ}</a></span>
