I see you in your formal clothes
Young and handsome as always
And I in my sequined gown
Ah, those were wonderful days
Summers of lulling by the sea
And dancing the nights away
Oh those days of wine and roses
Were a time to dream and play.
But of course these are memories
That were once the way we were
And I wish I looked the same way
But a change in us did occur.
Yes the years have changed us
But we're still a sight to see
You in your red flannel shirt
goes well with my flannel nitie. |
